10 Month Old Boy Baby disguised himself as Madurai Meenakshi Amman for Chithirai Thiruvizha 2018. Adorned with jewellery and Green-Red silk Saree, Crown on his head, Garland, Parrot on his right hand gives a complete feeling to the attire.

Madurai Chithirai Thiruvizha is celebrated every year in Meenakshi Amman Temple during the month of April, Tamil month of Chithirai.
It lasts for one month, First half were the celebrations of coronation / Pattabhishekam ceremony for Goddess Meenakshi and then all set for Celestial Wedding(Meenakshi Thirukalyanam) of Lord Sundareswara(Shiva) and Goddess Meenakshi(form of Parvati) and the Next half were the celebrations of the Journey of Lord Azhagar(Vishnu) her brother, from Kallazhagar temple Alagar kovil to Madurai.
It is the biggest celebration in Madurai, people from different states and country gathers in this festival. In Chithirai Thiruvizha many small kids were disguised him/herself as Goddess Meenakshi, Lord Shiva, Lord Azhagar etc,. and performing dance.
